Finding chats

This page is about quickly finding a conversation. Full search across all of memory (chats, documents, images, by meaning and with filters) is described in Memory search.

In the sidebar

1. Type a query into the Search chats field (at least two characters).
2. Press Enter or click the search icon.
3. Matching chats appears below: chats whose titles or messages contain a match.

The Clear chat search cross returns the regular list.

By day

Next to the search there is a calendar (Filter chats by day). Days with conversations are marked. Pick a day, and only that day's chats stay in the list. You can combine the calendar with text search.

Inside one chat

In the header of an open chat, click its title (Chat details and search). This opens the chat details (when it was created, last activity, number of messages, import source) and a Search in this chat field. Click a match, and the conversation scrolls to that message.

In the Memory section

Memory → Chats shows all conversations with filters by project, day and privacy, and sorting by date and activity.
