Diese Anleitung gibt es vorerst nur auf Englisch. Die deutsche Version folgt.

A fact is a short statement the assistant can use in any suitable conversation. For example: "Alex · prefers · meetings before noon". Facts save you from repeating the same thing in every new chat.

What a fact consists of

  • Subject: who or what it is about: "Alex", "the Renovation project", "me".
  • Relationship: the connection: "prefers", "lives in", "uses".
  • Detail: the value: "meetings before noon".

A fact also has a project (or it is global), the date from which it is true, and a source.

How facts appear

You add them yourself. Memory → Facts → Remember a fact: fill in Subject, Relationship and Detail and choose whether it's a global fact (Global - outside a project) or a project fact.

You can also add a project fact right on the project page: expand the Facts section and click Remember fact. The project is already chosen in the form.

The assistant suggests them. If Let the assistant suggest facts is on in Assistant (it is on by default), the assistant can suggest remembering something from the conversation. Such a fact is marked unconfirmed and isn't used until you confirm it.

You can also ask directly: "remember that…".

What you can do with a fact

Click a fact to open Fact details:

  • Confirm: confirm a suggested fact;
  • Reject suggestion: decline the suggestion;
  • correct the text and click Save changes;
  • Move: move it to another project; Make global: make it global. A global fact is used in the chats of all projects;
  • Stop using: the fact is no longer used but stays in the history. Useful when a fact is outdated: "lived in Moscow" → now "lives in Berlin";
  • Move to trash: to the trash for 30 days;
  • Delete forever: delete the fact and its whole history with no way to restore it.

Fact sources shows the messages the fact was taken from, History shows all changes to the fact.

Replacing a fact

When the assistant learns a new value of a fact already saved, it suggests a replacement (Proposed replacement). The old fact stays in effect until you confirm the new one.

Facts that need a decision

Sometimes one field ends up with several active values: for example, two different home cities. Such facts are collected at the top of the Facts section. For each one choose:

  • Keep this one: only this value is true; the others will no longer be used;
  • Both are true: both are true. Some fields honestly hold several values, such as the languages you speak.

Search and filters

In Facts you can search the text of facts, filter by project (All facts, Global only or a specific project) and by the date they were saved.
